Hi
Just tried the firmware fix to my XL 30 series/v9 and got the hourglass " flashing new gps firmware" but after a short wait I got a solid red progress bar at the bottom , not yellow or green!
Has it not worked?
Thanks

Hello,

I have TomTom One v2 2nd New Edition. I put Navcore_9.541_TZ firmware [Navcore v9.541 SE (for 32MB devices) by Tonyzeta]
I also tried the fix. I got the same problem as harrygee1205 - the hourglass " flashing new gps firmware" but after a short wait I got a solid red progress bar at the bottom , not yellow or green!

EDIT: I think the problem is because we are with another GPS chipset... GL1 FFFF, so we don't have many options except to use the https://www.navitotal.com/tutorials/wnro-gl1-clock-error-sat-fixes-workaround-t21253.html
I try it, and the clock is working, but I have a very long time to find satellites after a cold boot.
I found one video on Youtube [Please Register or Login to download file] which I tried also, and the provided files from the video fixed the problem with the clock and the slow satellite finding. So now everything is working for 2 days. I hope to continue working in the future too. :)

Thanks

Is it necessary to use The WNRO solution with a GO-720 with 9.541 nc?

No, the clock on your device should be working correctly already?

Just installed the patch on a OneV4.... once on the internal flash, the other on the SD card. The ONE Synchronized with 6 satellites in less than two minutes. When I got back into my house, the TT lost track of satellites then found 3 satellites in a stable manner. Impressive for an obsolete device !
IMPORTANT: Follow the tutorial to the letter, because just copying the contents of the archive then starting the TT will NOT work (I know right, I was there before)
